Professor Yann Parc, born in Paris in 1966, specializes in digestive surgery. Upon completing his medical doctorate, he conducted research at the Mayo Clinic on familial colorectal cancer, and continued his research in France, obtaining a Ph.D. He completed his surgical training at Saint-Antoine Hospital, and rose to the position of university professor in 2005. Widely acknowledged as an expert in his field, he is a member of various scientific societies and has contributed to international conferences. A prolific author, he has overseen the General and Digestive Surgery Department at Saint-Antoine since 2016.
EHTG 2024 has a dedicated session on desmoid tumors which covers this disease from different aspects. In frame of this session, Prof. Parc will talk about the surgical treatment of desmoid tumors at this year’s EHTG meeting.
