Richard Anderson is Elsie Inglis Professor of Clinical Reproductive Science at the University of Edinburgh Centre for Reproductive Health, and works clinically in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology. He has interests in both female and male fertility, with a major aspect of this being fertility preservation and the effects of cancer treatments on fertility. He was Chair of the ESHRE Guideline group on Fertility Preservation in women, and a contributor to the ESMO guideline on fertility preservation, both published in 2000. He is a member of the HFEA Scientific and Clinical Advances Advisory Committee and until recently the ESHRE Executive Committee.
At the EHTG 2024, Prof. Anderson is going to talk about the topic of fertility preservation in patients with gynecological cancers.
